Kelly Karczewski
Kelly Karczewski joined Fletcher & Co in early 2021. Prior to joining the agency, she worked as an Editorial Assistant at Foundry Literary + Media, where she assisted on projects primarily in the pop culture space. Now, at Fletcher & Co, Kelly supports Gráinne Fox and Rebecca Gradinger with their respective projects and is excited to build her own list of clients. She holds a BA in English from Amherst College.
Kelly is particularly interested in upmarket and commercial fiction featuring unique and contemporary voices. When it comes to nonfiction, her taste is a bit of a mixed bag, but she generally shies away from straight memoir, preferring research-based nonfiction with a journalistic element. She goes wild over anything and everything Greek mythology, stories set on the East coast, and books that challenge and educate readers in new ways.
A few books she loves: Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin, The Silence of the Girls by Pat Barker, Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart, Happy Hour by Marlowe Granados, The Love Songs of W.E.B. Du Bois by Honorée Fanonne Jeffers, Great Circle by Maggie Shipstead, Circe by Madeline Miller.
